Quiet Days

Quiet Days

Sometimes I love quiet days. I can get so much done! The last two weeks have been no exception. I have painted our living room, sewed curtains for 2 bedrooms, taken our dogs to various vets for their breeding health checks and completed final inspection for the Kennel. I am so thankful to be on this side of the building project!

During our quiet days, I also take time to work on “the business”. You might notice a few changes on the website with this blog. I plan on updating it some more during the first part of 2021.

I also met with Top Notch Service Dogs. We are very excited that they would like to purchase some puppies in the future and train them to be service dogs.

I can also enjoy just spending time with my dogs. Our days have been filled with learning how to come in and out of their doggy doors in the kennel, time in the house to just chill and be with us, and outside on walks (when the weather cooperates) or playing in the yard.

Neither of our girls have come into heat yet. However, we have made the decision to not breed Valentina during her upcoming season. We feel she just needs more time before having another litter. Meribell will be bred when she comes into her next season, which hopefully, will be any day. We will be keeping a couple of her girls, so the sire of the litter will be from another breeder.
